A meeting with the client on site. This is followed up by a written brief for discussion.
Site survey and site analysis
The site survey and analysis are necessary parts of the garden design process. It helps to determine the size and shape of the landscape to be designed. A full topographical survey is commissioned from professional surveyors if necessary.
Outline Sketches and ideas for discussion
Following discussions a scaled plan is finalised and drawings/moodboards made to help visualise the design.
Detailed plan (2D & 3D CAD), construction drawings, planting plans/schedules
Creating the designs using professional CAD software ensures accuracy. The detailed plan, construction drawings provide all the necessary detail for the garden to be built and is sent to landscape contractors for tender.
